Besides the above differences, it is worth to name all the common traits of the tools. There are as follows:
- In both cases, we are dealing with the Keurig 2.0 series, which makes them much more advanced. However, it means that capsules for Keurig 1.0 models won’t fit, since new devices require larger ones. There are several supported capsules, namely K-Cup, K-Vue, K-Mug, and K-Carafe.

Keurig k475 is equipped with a very intuitive and user-friendly 2.4-inch display. It is an LCD, color screen where we can choose whatever we expect from the device to prepare.
As far as the settings are concerned, we can choose the strength of the brewed beverage. What is more, there is a possibility to verify the settings and see the capacity of the cup.
The screen allows us to adjust the colors. There is also an option to save our favorite settings, so we don’t have to set anything up from the beginning.
Additionally, the model is equipped with automatic detection of the inserted capsule as well as brewing optimization. Keurig k475 is the representative of the 2.0 series. It means that only brand new capsules issued exclusively for the 2.0 line will fit.

A machine for brewing a coffee or any other beverage from the same producer, namely Keurig K250 of 2.0 series, is yet another Single-Serve type of device.
It is characterized by the small size and the K-cup technology that the authors included. Interestingly, the look of the device depends on the color we choose.
And there are plenty of options to choose from. The plastic case is available in black, red, or blue with different shades. No matter which one we choose, all of them look modernistic.
In terms of clarity, we receive here quite a good screen that is 2 inches big. Nevertheless, it is black and white. As a result, k475 offers a much nicer display.

If however, the only things you care about are functionality and, perhaps, user-friendly controls, then this monochrome option will work just fine.
Keurig k250 is model compatible exclusively with capsules designed for the 2.0 series, like for example K-Cup, K-Vue, K-Mug, or K-Carafe. The sizes they support are up to 30 ounces. Keurig K250 offers us the function to save our favorite settings.
Unfortunately, we are not going to find here the auto on and off option. We need to launch it manually. However, we can make use of a low power consumption mode to save some energy while being idle.
Due to its small size, it is the ideal option for a 1 or 2-man place of work. Since the water tank offers us 40 oz of capacity, it will be better for situations where we do not drink a lot of coffee or any other beverage.
Due to the implementation of a small tank, it won’t be a good option for work offices where there are more than 3 potential users.
Keurig offers us several different options when it comes to preparing drinks. There are hundreds of variations of coffee to choose from. We can also prepare tea, chocolate, or even cocoa.
With the possibility to prepare a decaf coffee, you will surely find the flavor you love. Brewing coffee takes less than a minute, so it has a similar performance to k475.
